Frequently Asked Questions
What is a HYDROZONE Environmental ECOSYSTEM?
Hydrozone Environmental Eco-Friendly systems are an innovative and cost-effective solution for treating domestic and commercial wastewater.
What applications does PureFlow suit?
Typical applications include single dwellings, small communities, developments, rural builds and property-owners who want to upgrade to a more environmentally friendly option.
Hydrozone Environmental treatment systems are a scalable, low energy domestic eco-friendly sewage treatment plants to serve 7-300 people in full-time residence where access to mains drainage is not available.
Can treated waste water be discharged onto land?
Yes. Unlike other treatment plants where the effluent is discharged in deep trenches with a risk of soil and water contamination, the high quality of the Hydrozone treated wastewater means it is suitable for land discharge on-site using a shallow-buried or surface-layed dripperline.
How much waste water can HYDROZONE Systems process?
Hydrozone systems are modular and scalable. Depending on the size of the system, they can process anything from 800 litres per day up to 50,000 litres per day.
Can the HYDROZONE system be buried underground?
Yes. The Hydrozone treatment plants are a Recirculating Packed-bed Biofilter (RPB) type treatment plant for aerobic advanced-secondary treatment of wastewater. The systems are designed to be completely buried, with access at ground level through covered risers.
The Hydrozone Environmental ecosystems are of low energy and maintenance requirements along with discrete below ground no noise operation.
Is installation easy?
Yes. For developers, builders and installers, Hydrozone systems offer compact design, easy installation and a very price competitive solution.
What about servicing?
Only minimal effort and servicing is required for hassle-free lifelong operation of Hydrozone systems.
Do you have a zero-energy option?
Yes. Hydrozone systems also offer a completely natural zero-energy wastewater system, with no pumps to operate the plant. By using alternative passive dosing devices, we can offer a system that requires no power or pumps and that will still treat your wastewater to a high standard of treatment.
